Soprano Hanbyeol Min is a lyric coloratura soprano recognized for her clear, flexible tone and expressive musicality. She has performed a wide range of operatic and concert repertoire in the United States and South Korea, spanning Baroque through Romantic works.
Her operatic roles include Constance (Dialogues des Carmélites) at Montclair State University, Despina (Così fan tutte) with Chicago Summer Opera, Erste Dame (Die Zauberflöte) with Museum Family Opera in Korea, and Erste Knabe (Die Zauberflöte) at Seoul National University. She has also presented scenes from Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) and Ophélie (Hamlet).

As a concert soloist, Ms. Min has appeared in works such as Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria (RV 589), Mozart’s Gloria (K.317), and Bach cantatas including BWV 63 and BWV 234a. She has collaborated with ensembles including the Westchester Korean Choral, CHANETZ a Dieu Choir, and the Hyundai On-Dream Ensemble, and has given solo recitals in Korea.
An award-winning artist, Ms. Min has received prizes from numerous competitions, including the Camille Coloratura Awards, Virtuoso International Competition, Papapotti Competition, and KCSA International Competition, and was a finalist in the Marston Singing Competition and the Ades Competition at Manhattan School of Music.
Ms. Min holds an Artist Diploma in Vocal Performance from Montclair State University and a Master of Music in Classical Voice from Manhattan School of Music. She earned her Bachelor of Music from Seoul National University and was a full scholarship recipient of the Hyundai Foundation. Her teachers include Beth Roberts, Neil Rosenshein, and Hana Park.
